SPONSORING THE ARTS

IDEAS are regular sponsors of art exhibitions at the Delta gallery in Stenhousemiur. Recent exhibitions have included:
Toast, Rats' Tales and Same Difference

IDEAS are proud to be sponsors of
Edinburgh Art College. Most recently, a student's educational trip to China was helped made possible by a cash donation by the firm.

IDEAS are pleased to be
'Friends of the National Galleries of Scotland'. Significantly the Scottish National Museum exhibited work by IDEAS as part of their popular 'Mask' exhibition.

POP CULTURE

IDEAS Events own 2 travelling exhibitions, namely
Invasion and Celebrity. Respectively, these feature a collection of science fiction props and costumes from film and TV and up-close and personal items/props and costumes from well known celebrities. These exhibitions have proven to dramatically increase footfall within even the largest galleries.

PERFORMING ARTS

Our Creative Director, Don Jack has been involved in the performing arts from a very young age. Writing his first piece of music at the age of 6 he would go on to conduct the school orchestra at the age of 10 performing Albert Ketelbey's famous 'In A Persian Market', picking up a National Music Award for his school, the first of at least enough to rival his awards for art and design. Whilst his love for art and design would dominated his life, his interest in music and performance art continues to this day.
